About Channels

Channels lets you send and receive messages on multiple channels with the same UCI API you already use. Channels makes it easy to reach your customers on new platforms, such as Facebook Messenger, Signal, LINE, Twitter, WhatsApp, and more.

By adding support for over-the-top (OTT) networks, UCI allows developers to build call centers on the same APIs they use to build support chatbots. Channels allows developers to tap into use case APIs, like Notify and Conversations, to build much more powerful applications. This leads to a better end-to-end experience.

How it Works

Channels work with the UCI APIs you already use. Extending your reach to a new Channel is easy:

1. Browse Channels in the Channels Catalog

2. Install the Channel and select the UCI API you want to use it with

3. Start using the Channel with the UCI API you selected
